5.2 Requirements to Earn CE Credit

To receive a certificate of completion and earn continuing education credit for any homestudy or asynchronous course offered through this Platform, participants must satisfy ALL of the following requirements:

(a) Full Participation in the Asynchronous Course

Participants must complete all required course components in their entirety. This includes reviewing all instructional content, reading all assigned materials, and engaging with all learning activities as specified in the course. Partial completion does not qualify for CE credit.

(b) Knowledge Assessment — Minimum Passing Score of 80%

Participants must complete the course quiz or knowledge assessment and achieve a score of at least 80% correct to demonstrate mastery of the course content. Participants who do not achieve a passing score on the first attempt may retake the assessment in accordance with the retake policy stated within the individual course. CE credit will not be awarded until a passing score has been achieved.

(c) Program Evaluation

Participants must complete the program evaluation form prior to receiving their certificate of completion. The evaluation is used to assess the quality and effectiveness of the course and to inform ongoing program improvement. Submission of the evaluation is a mandatory requirement for credit issuance.

5.3 Certificate of Completion

Upon successful completion of all requirements outlined in Section 5.2, participants will receive a certificate of completion documenting the CE credit hours earned, the course title, the NBCC ACEP provider number (once assigned*), and the date of completion. Participants are responsible for retaining their certificate for their licensing records.

5.4 Accuracy of Reported Participation

By submitting your assessment and evaluation, you certify that you personally completed all course components and that your responses accurately reflect your own work. Misrepresentation of participation is a violation of these Terms and may constitute an ethical violation subject to reporting to the relevant licensing board.

6. Fees and Payment

There are no membership fees associated with access to the Playful Minds Counseling platform. Individual continuing education courses may carry a per-course enrollment fee, which will be disclosed clearly at the time of registration.
