IRIS MCCOMB, MA

I bring a decade of experience as a massage therapist, yoga teacher, and reiki practitioner to my role as a psychotherapist. My background in bodywork has allowed me to witness the profound wisdom of the body and our innate capacity to heal. Healing is a natural and accessible state for everyone—no matter their history. My trauma-informed, client-centered approach emphasizes nervous system regulation and present moment awareness: prerequisites for accessing deeper states of consciousness and self-realization.

I received my MA in Mindfulness-Based and Transpersonal Psychotherapy from Naropa University. I utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities including Gestalt, Brainspotting, attachment-based therapy, and psychodynamic theory. I am committed to working with clients of all backgrounds and identities, and I am continuously striving to dismantle internalized systems of oppression and become more conscious of my own blindspots and biases. My sincere hope is for every human to experience empowerment and self-actualization so that we may all get free together.

Outside of my professional life I am a passionate community builder, foodie, and arts-enthusiast. In my free time you might catch me reading, cooking for friends, or enjoying a themed cocktail at a local theatre production.

*Iris is under the clinical supervision of Sivie Suckerman, MA, LMHC, ACS
