REESE TALERICO, MA, LMHCA
I serve clients (13+) who are feeling disconnected, isolated, lost, stuck, fatigued, or overwhelmed, and come equipped to accompany you through the darkness. I am passionate about helping you rekindle the light within, intentionally, authentically, and peacefully in congruence with what's meaningful to you. Together, we can break patterns, improve your relationships, create your own values for wellness and energetic balance, reinvent yourself, become friends with your nervous system, and integrate coping skills. I particularly enjoy connecting with trauma survivors, LGBTQIA+ and non-monogamous folks, and those who find themselves out of the ordinary.
Some clients I work with may be struggling with their identity, gender, sexuality, or non-monogamous relationships. I strive to alleviate suffering from the rejection, oppression, and discrimination the queer, poly, and BIPOC communities face. As a queer, non-binary, Asian American, I have personal experience in this discovery journey and can help you create the version of yourself you want to be on your terms.
I work to empower you through psychoeducation, compassionate curiosity, and jointly cultivating a space where you have trust and freedom to express how you identify yourself, achieve goals, shift perspectives, and gain self-awareness. I also offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy, brainspotting, and Reiki for those seeking attunement through alternative methods.
My theoretical orientation is integrative, flexibly drawing from and intertwining lenses, including Internal Family Systems/parts work, Somatic Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and attachment and psychodynamic theories, among others, to best serve each client's unique situation.
Over the last six years, I have gained diverse experiences working in multiple realms of mental health care, including natural holistic health, energy healing, inpatient hospitalization, ketamine treatment centers, and individual and couples/relationship therapy.
I view health from a mind, body, spirit, culture, nature & social perspective, meaning ALL facets of being human are connected and considered while exploring your experiences and guiding you to better health. Come as you are.
Outside the therapy space, you can find me on the dancefloor at a live music event, singing
karaoke, and exploring the beautiful outdoors the PNW offers.
